About Bloom & Blossom

A Conference
for Mothers

"Inspiring homeschool moms to thrive with vision, purpose, and joy in their motherhood and homeschool journey."

A gathering for mothers to be encouraged, equipped, empowered, and inspired.

The Heart Behind It

The heart behind Bloom and Blossom is simple: to see mothers thrive.

Born from the vision to see women rise in the freedom of home education — free to lead with peace, to build a culture of learning that reflects their values, and to walk this journey with wonder and warmth.

Bloom and Blossom is for the mama who longs to nurture her home and homeschool with purpose, peace, and joy. It's for the mother who's weary of just surviving and ready to cultivate something life-giving in her family — something lasting.

This conference isn't about checking boxes or chasing the perfect curriculum. It's about the heart of home education — your mindset, your rhythms, your relationships, your family culture, and the deep, holy work of motherhood.

At Bloom and Blossom, you'll find a community of like-minded women, honest conversations, practical strategies, and the kind of encouragement that sinks in deep. You'll also gain real-world homeschooling guidance — from proven teaching methods to curriculum tips — tailored to support your daily journey. You'll leave feeling refreshed, grounded, and confident.

Come invest in yourself, and watch peace, joy, and clarity begin to blossom in your home.

The Bloom & Blossom Team

Friends since 2008, sisters in the journey.

Christina Carpenter

Founder & Director

Hi, I'm Christina! A PNW native transferred to the Midwest, and the mother of two dynamic girls and two lively boys. My husband and I love curating family memories around travel and new adventures, and I'm passionate about home education and family culture.

A fangirl of fancy coffee and spicy Thai food, an enthusiast for beautiful books, and a devoted reader of Jane Austen and Laura Ingalls Wilder. Small in stature but an advocate of living life to the fullest — I believe you should always take the road less traveled. My anthem: "motherhood is a sanctifying journey of growth and intentionality."

Kelly Taylor

Co-Director

I'm Kelly — follower of Jesus, wife to Matt, mom to teen girls and a wild little boy. An extra-extrovert (I have to be careful not to exhaust my family with my love of travel and socializing!), my passion is to encourage those around me — my kids to pursue their purpose, my friends to shine the light I see in them.

Growing up I longed for closeness and community, so I work hard to create that for my family now. Aside from co-directing Bloom and Blossom with my best friend, I love planning events, traveling, and quality time with people I love. My hope is to humbly link arms with other women interested in growth and relationship.

We've been friends since 2008 — back when we were mothers to only one child each and both rocking the side part. Since then we've lived life together as sisters, present for all the highs and lows, both aspiring to lift others up and create a space for women to gather in community, fellowship, and authentic transparency.
